Everything we sell comes with the legal guarantee under Belgian consumer law. Here's what that covers and how to use it.
The legal guarantee
Belgian consumer law gives you a legal guarantee for defects that existed at delivery, running from the date you received the product. If a defect shows up within that period, we'll repair or replace the item — or refund you where that's not possible.
What's covered
- Manufacturing defects — layers separating, parts that were misprinted or don't fit as intended.
- Items that break during normal, intended use.
- Items that were defective or damaged on arrival.
What's not covered
- Damage from misuse or use contrary to the safety guidance.
- Deformation from heat — parked cars, radiators, dishwashers, direct flame.
- Damage from chewing or aggressive pet use (no toy is indestructible).
- Accidental damage — drops onto hard floors, being stepped on.
- Normal wear from regular use, including surface scuffs.
How to make a claim
Email info@cleverupps.be with your order reference, a short description, and a photo or two of the problem. We reply within 2 business days with next steps. Where a return is needed to inspect the item, we cover the return shipping for warranty claims.
